About Mrs. Sims

My name is Cristina Sims, and I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Converse College and my Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Grand Canyon University. This is my 11th year teaching. I am highly qualified to teach K-12th grade ESOL.

My husband, Joseph, is a School Psychologist. We have two lovable daughters named Reina and Nova. We also have a playful dog named Rocsi. We love the South Carolina Gamecocks, traveling, cooking, and playing board games as a family!

I am a firm believer that every child is unique and possesses the innate ability to learn, given the proper tools and support. It is my mission to work with each child that crosses my path and provide them with the best educational experience I can possibly offer. Through learning new tasks, students may experience a roller coaster of emotions, but each child will be equipped with the proper tools and experiences to excel while learning English.
