In the event of inclement weather, your student will log into Google Classroom and click the Google Meet link for virtual instruction. Teachers will follow the same classroom schedule on these days.

Parent Communication
Blythe Folders
Every Thursday, students will bring home any important information and reminders about school and classroom events as well as graded assignments in their red folder. Please review the papers each week and remove them from your child’s folder. Parents can also view grades via Parent Backpack at any time throughout the year.
Report Cards/Grades
Report cards are published every nine weeks. This report will grade children in reading, language, spelling, handwriting, mathematics, social studies, science and health, art, music, and physical education. Report Cards and Progress Reports will be available via BackPack for students in grades 2-5. Report Cards will be emailed to parents in grades 4K-1st.
Report Card Dates: October 19, 2023; January 10, 2024; April 1, 2024; May 22, 2024
Grades
Teachers in grades 2 through 5 will use numerical grades, according to the State’s Uniform Grading Policy, to communicate student progress in all subject areas with the exception of elementary penmanship and elementary related arts.
The following grading procedures are used in each of the areas listed below:
