Hello, my name is Trey Hasty and I am happy to be starting my second year here at Blue Ridge High School. I am a native Greenvillian??? Greenvillite??? and a 2004 graduate of Eastside High School. I then continued my academic career at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, where I received a degree in Sports Management, it is also where I met my wife Luisa. We enjoyed the Charlotte area so much it took me 12 years to come back home. My wife, our dog Vegas, and I moved back to Greenville in the summer of 2017 so that I could start my teaching career and be closer to family and in April of 2020 Vegas became a big brother when we had our baby girl, Blair. In addition to being part of the business department I am also on the football coaching staff at Blue Ridge serving as the Defensive Backs coach. Prior to Blue Ridge I spent the previous 3 years working at Carolina High School. Before Carolina in a previous life I worked, and am still licensed, as a Real Estate Appraiser. I am excited to be working with all of you, both parents and students, as we work towards an amazing school year.
