All About Me

I am a proud member of the graduating class of 2010 from Blue Ridge High School. I began my educational journey at North Greenville University and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Social Studies Education. Upon graduation, I began working in North Carolina as a social studies teacher in Henderson County for five years. The 2021-2022 school year will by my eighth year as an educator. Recently, I graduated in 2019 with a Masters in Education from Anderson University and have earned a plus 30 in Instructional Technology from the University of La Verne in California. In my teaching career, I have taught the following courses: Psychology, United States History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.

In the summer of 2019, I married Amber Chappell who is also a teacher in Greenville county. Shortly after, we adopted a yellow Labrador named Molly and have enjoyed her company in our home. We have a one year old daughter named Haddie Lou Chappell and a newborn son named Case Lee Chappell.

I currently Coach Men's Varsity Soccer at Blue Ridge High School and I am excited about giving back to a community school and athletic program that has given so much to me. Go Tigers!
