Mrs. Bassett
I grew up in a small town ten miles to the north of Columbia, South Carolina called Blythewood. I attended schools in Richland District 2 and then went to Columbia College and majored in Early Childhood Education. I moved to the Greenville County area in 1998 and became a first grade teacher at Alexander Elementary. I taught at Alexander for six years and then transferred to Bryson Elementary in 2004. I married my husband, Barry Bassett whom I met in Simpsonville in June of 2004. I taught second grade for one year at Bryson and kindergarten for all the rest. I just completed my 25th year of teaching and am looking forward to a great year with your child!
Mrs. Potts
I was born and raised in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. I attended Fountain Inn Elementary until fourth grade, and then went to Shannon Forest Christian School where I graduated from high school. Then I attended Greenville Technical College to get a certificate in Early Childhood Education. I married my husband, Jerry Potts Jr. in 1987. We have two children and two grandchildren. I was a substitute teacher for the district a few years before taking the K-5 Aide position with Mrs. Bassett two years ago. I love children and look forward to a great year with your child !
