Hello! The 2023-2024 school year will be my eleventh at Greer Middle. After beginning my studies at the New School in New York City, I graduated from College of Charleston with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and sociology. Five years later, I earned my master’s degree and teaching certification from Converse University. I am currently a doctoral student in the Professional Leadership Program at Converse University.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed learning about diverse cultures and societies. My family lives in three different countries and just as many languages were spoken in my household growing up. I also enjoy looking at history as a collection of stories with a cast of fascinating characters, and like to draw connections between history and current events. 

When I'm not teaching I love spending time with my family supporting the Yellow Jackets, playing with our two dogs, working out, being a Swiftie, reading, cooking new things, and travelling.
