Welcome to Mrs. Buford's website. This page is created to let you know a little about me. This is my 30th year teaching. I have previously taught first grade for 6 years and kindergarten for 16 years. I attended Clemson University (BA in Early Childhood ED) and College of Charleston (M.Ed.in Early Childhood). I am a nationally certified teacher by N.B.C.T. in Literacy since 2009. In 2014, I completed course work from Clemson University that allowed me to become certified to teach ESOL.

I am a South Carolina native! I grew up in the Lowcountry and was transplanted to the Upstate in 1997 when my husband(Lee) was transferred here with his company. We have two beautiful girls, Hannah(22) and Sarah (19). We love to go to the beach, cheer for Clemson, and visiting family.
