I am so excited to be in the Buena Vista Library this year! I have been teaching for 12 years and the library is absolutely my home. I began my career as a fourth grade classroom teacher and have been a librarian for the last 6 years! I grew up all around the world as an "Army Brat" and settled in Greenville after attending Furman University. My husband, Austin, my daughter, Laney (3), and I live right around the corner from Buena Vista. I am so thankful to work and live in the same community. When not in the library, I love to read (shocker I know!), spend time with my family, and cheer for Clemson and the Braves!

Hello Bobcats! I am Catherine Gross.  I was raised in Florence, SC.  I graduated from Clemson University in August of 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy.  I am married to Alan Gross.  He and I have one daughter named Annie.  I worked in Healthcare for 12 years before coming to Buena Vista Elementary.  This is my 11th year at Buena Vista and my 5th year in the library.  I love my job! I enjoy shell hunting and any activity on the beach.
