Welcome to what will be an exciting year at Eastside High School.

I will be teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry this year. I will be assigning classwork daily that if not finished in class should be finished for homework. I will grade homework assignments throughout the year for a minor grade.

If your child is absent, the school’s policy on make-up work will be followed. If the absence is excused, he/she will be allowed to make up assignments without penalty. Provisions for make-up work are the student’s responsibility. Teachers are not required to accept makeup work or arrange testing for unexcused absences. For information on the Attendance and Tardy Policies consult the Student Agenda.

For information on our grading scale, bell schedule, or course syllabus please see the links at the top of this page. The syllabus will contain a calendar for anticipated dates for each unit, class materials, textbook, etc.
