About Me
I was born and raised in the small town of Vidalia, GA, also known as Sweet Onion Country. After graduating from high school, I went to Valdosta State University where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I decided to move back to my home town where I had the honor of teaching my first year of school as a third grade teacher.
During the summer following my first year teaching, I got married to my best friend and moved to Augusta, GA. While in Augusta, I had the opportunity to teach 4th grade to students that taught me as much as I taught them.
In June of 2016, my husband and I moved to Easley, SC for his job, which led me to Grove Elementary School. With hard work, high expectations, a sense of community, and love, we will strive to SOAR as Grove Eagles do.
A few of my favorite things:
- My family
- Reading
- Going on vacation
- Cupcakes
- TEACHING :)
