About Me

My Name is Sarah Ascher and I look forward to teaching your child at Blue Ridge Middle School this year. I grew up in Michigan and went to a very small private school. I then attended Bob Jones University and graduated in 2015 with a BS in Music Education and in 2017 with a MA in Voice Performance. From 2017-2019 I taught at Piano Central Studios. There I taught private voice and piano as well as Kindermusik. I also developed and conducted a voice class for the studio for all our elementary aged students. I am also a member of the National Association for Music Educators as well as the community choir, Rivertree Singers.

My husband and I were married in April of 2018, and we just celebrated our first anniversary! We are currently building our first house and have a GORGEOUS Newfiedoodle puppy named, Gershwin (a newfiedoodle is a combination of a newfoundland and a poodle. He is currently 10 months old and 85 pounds).

I am so excited for this opportunity to be back in the classroom! I adore teaching and most importantly I love working with young people. I look forward to the opportunity to impact your child's life with music, and am so grateful that you've entrusted a small part of their education to me.
