Hello, hola, hi! 

 English- My name is Abby Roe and I am SO excited for my second year at Monaview. I graduated from Winthrop University with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education in 2018. After completing a short term study abroad adventure in the Dominican Republic my junior year, I fell in love with the country and knew I had to go back. I taught three years there and loved every minute of it! Teaching English to multi-language learners quickly became a passion I never knew I had! I also met my husband during my time there. I am eager to continue to fill my backpack full of experiences and skills this year as I continue to grow as an educator! I am a firm believer in constant GROWTH and developing a strong sense of self-confidence in these young learners! I am looking forward to an amazing year with our class room full of ROCKSTARS! In order to have a successful year, a strong family + school bond is crucial! Every adult plays an important role in their child's life not only at home, but in their education as well. Let's do this, team! 

Español- Mi nombre es Abby Roe y estoy TAN emocionada por dar clases mi segundo año en Monaview. Me gradué de Winthrop University con mi licenciatura en Educación Infantil en 2018. Después de completar una aventura de estudios en el extranjero a corto plazo en la República Dominicana, me enamoré del país y supe que tenía que regresar. ¡Enseñé tres años allí y disfruté cada minuto! ¡Enseñar inglés a estudiantes de varios idiomas se convirtió rápidamente en una pasión que nunca supe que tenía! También conocí a mi esposo durante mi tiempo allí. ¡Estoy ansiosa por continuar de llenar mi mochila con experiencias y habilidades este año mientras sigo creciendo como educadora! ¡Creo firmemente en el CRECIMIENTO constante y en desarrollar un fuerte sentido de confianza en sí mismos en estos jóvenes aprendices! ¡Espero tener un año increíble con nuestra clase llena de ROCKSTARS! ¡Para tener un año exitoso, un vínculo fuerte entre la familia y la escuela es crucial! Todos los adultos forman un papel importante en la vida de sus hijos, no solo en el hogar, sino también en su educación. ¡Vamos, equipo!
