About Me

Hello All!

I am Amy Rodgers. For starters, this is my third year at Grove Elementary, and fourth year teaching altogether! I graduated from North Greenville University with an Elementary Education degree. I believe this will be #bestclassever!

I grew up in the small town of Metter, Georgia where most of my time was spent on an athletic field or court. The experiences I learned on the field and court have shaped me into the person I am today. Henry Ford once said, "Coming together is a beginning, staying together is a progress, and working together is a success." I believe TEAMWORK is the secret to success.

After high school, I had the pleasure to play softball for North Greenville University. My time there was spent on the softball field, but also in classrooms where I learned each team needs a leader. It was there that I realized my dream was to be the leader of many students that would walk through my classroom doors.

After graduating from NGU with a degree in Elementary Education, I had the great pleasure to marry the man of my dreams. I believe we make quite the team. Neal graduated from Furman University, where he played football for the Paladins. We have been married for a little over two years, and I have adored each minute of it.

Speaking of adoring, I also have two of the cutest furbabies on the planet. Daisy is 3 years old and loves to chase squirrels, cuddle, and play fetch. She is spoiled rotten and knows it. Meet Daisy.

Until a year ago, Daisy was the only child. That is until a starved, stray puppy wandered onto our doorstep. Since named Bo, he has moved into the roll of little brother, and Daisy is so patient with him. Bo loves to aggravate his sister, chew on bones, and play fetch. He also LOVES to give kisses, and he thinks everyone he meets needs some of his sweet kisses. Meet Bo.

After graduating, getting married, and adopting pups we moved back to Georgia. I now have the pleasure of being a part of the Grove Elementary team for the second year in a row! I hope to learn, grow, and love daily. I hope to encourage each and every one of my students to reach for the stars. We will work as a team to become everything we want to be and MORE! In my classroom, get ready to work hard, help others, and reach goals, because that is the reason I am Amy Rodgers, a teacher at Grove Elementary.
