This is my third year at Southside, but my 16th year teaching. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2001 with a BSEd in General Science and then went on to earn my Masters in Education from Southern Wesleyan University in 2010.  I began work towards my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction through Marshall University in August of 2022. 

I am licensed to teach every science that SC offers at the high school level, am AP and IB Chemistry certified and hold a Gifted and Talented endorsement. My favorite subject to teach is CP Chemistry!!
