Hello! Welcome to AVID at WHHS! This is my 11th year teaching, and my 7th year at WHHS. I have been married to the most wonderful man, Austin, for 22 years and I have two children, Millie, 16, and JP, 14. I grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Brookwood HS in 1996. I graduated from Clemson University in 2000 with a B.S. in Microbiology. I also have a Masters in Pastoral Counseling and an EdD (Doctorate in Education) from Liberty University. I served 7 years on active duty in the Air Force as an Electronic Warfare Officer flying on the AC-130H Spectre Gunship. I have traveled on multiple deployments overseas, and it was a privilege and honor to serve my country alongside so many great men and women. I consider it a privilege and honor to be teaching these incredible students. I look forward to seeing them go out into the community as productive members of society!
