About Me

My name is Anna Ashmore, and this will be my 9th year in education. This is my first year as a reading interventionist. I previously taught 4th grade at Pelham Road Elementary for 3 years, and 3rd and 4th grade at Powdersville Elementary for 5 years.

I graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and from Furman University with a master's degree in literacy. Teaching reading is a passion of mine, and I love seeing students' love for reading grow!

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Sam, and we have one son named Reeves. We have two Boykin Spaniels named Shuford and Louis. We love to travel, hike, exercise, and spend time with family and friends!
