I am Allyson Blackwell, School Counselor for kindergarten, first, and second grades. The students refer to me as “Mrs. Bee” bee-cause of my themes of “Bee-lieve in Yourself” and “Bee All You Can Bee,” as well as my bumblebee-filled office!

This is my 18th year at Oakview, and my 31th year in education! Bee-fore coming to Oakview in 2000, I taught for 13 years in grades 1, 2, 3, and 5 in Anderson District 1, Greenville, and Horry Counties. I love bee-ing a School Counselor as it enables me to bee with and get to know so many precious children!

I have been married to Cameron for 25 years! He is an Allstate Insurance Agent, and we have 2 un-bee-lievable children. Our daughter Chandler just graduated from Clemson University, and she is working as an Architectural Intern in Charlotte. Our son Carter is a senior at JL Mann. We have a Boykin Spaniel named Bea who keeps us really busy!
