Mrs. Dixon

My name is Eve Dixon and I am thrilled to be joining the PRES All Star Family. I am originally from Muncie, Indiana and moved to Seneca, South Carolina during my sixth grade year. I attended Seneca Middle School, then Seneca High School. After graduating from high school, I attended Winthrop University and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I married my high school sweetheart, Brent Dixon, in 2008. I started my teaching career in the Anderson school district, then traveled to Columbia and taught for five years. Then in 2010, I completed my Master's Degree in Divergent Learning. After completing my masters, my husband, Brent, and I moved to Greenville, SC where I started teaching at AJ Whittenberg Elementary School. I started teaching second grade and looped with my class to teach third grade. In 2015, we welcomed our son, William who will be in second grade this year.

I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher even as an elementary age student. School has always been fun and I knew it was the job for me! My goal is to ensure all students feel comfortable in the classroom and have the opportunity to learn and be successful.

This will be my seventeenth year of teaching! I am so excited to get the year rolling! I look forward to meeting your child and your family as we embark on our journey through second grade!
