Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

Last week we launched our updated fee payment system, and the Beck’s Online Bookstore for parents. We are excited to share that over 930 students have already purchased their books and paid their fees online!

If you have not already done so, please take an opportunity to review the Tasks to Complete Before the First Day of School document that was recently mailed to all families. This document explains the three steps that need to be completed for all students as soon as possible:

1. Enroll for School (through PowerSchool)
2. Pay Student Fees and Sign-Up for Parent Organizations (through e~Funds for Schools)
3. Purchase Textbooks and Instructional Materials (through Beck’s Bookstore for GBN or GBS)

In an effort to support our families complete these tasks, we wanted to share some frequently asked questions that we have received.

Where do I get started?

• Parents can access all of the tasks through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Navigate your web browser to http://pshome.glenbrook225.org to get started.

How do I pay student fees?

• Navigate to the PowerSchool Parent Portal, and select the “Balance” option. Next, click the the Pay Your Fees Using e~Funds for Schools button.
• Please Note: If you are using a mobile device, you may be unable to view the “Balance” option in PowerSchool.
• To protect the privacy of your financial information, parents will need to create a separate user account to use the online payment service. Once registered, parents can submit credit card payments or online check payments.

How do I purchase textbooks and other materials?

• Navigate to the PowerSchool Parent Portal, and select the “Balance” option. Next, click the Purchase Your Textbooks Using Beck’s Bookstore button.
• Please Note: If you are using a mobile device, you may be unable to view the “Balance” option in PowerSchool.
• To protect the privacy of your financial information, parents will need to also create a separate user account for Beck’s Bookstore.
• You will be given the option of having books delivered to your home or you can pick them up in the GBS Bookstore.

Who can I call if I have a problem registering my student or paying fees?

• If you have any problems with one of our online systems, please contact the Glenbrook Technology Help Desk at (847) 486-4555 or via e-mail at helpdesk@glenbrook225.org.
