PROSPECTIVE COACHES

Available Coaching Positions

All coaches in GPS must have the following per the District and Arizona Interscholastic Association in order to be cleared for coaching:

• Fingerprint Clearance Card | Link (District can also run fingerprints, but can delay the process)

• CPR/First Aid | Link

• NFHS Course Certificates:

  • Concussion in Sports

  • Fundamentals of Coaching

  • Bullying, Hazing, and Inappropriate Behaviors

• Head Coaches will need a teaching certificate, sub certificate, or NFHS Sport Specific course depending on the position.
