Goals

IH4Future project aims at accomplishing four main goals:

1. Raise awareness to Industrial Heritage (IH), its importance in the history of industrial civilisation and the urgency of its preservation;
2. Contribute to the historical and technical documentation of IH with scientific-based knowledge and use it as a valuable tool for its preservation;
3. Derive scientifically based information to end users (conservation-restauration companies and museums);
4. Stimulate the integration of the VMGF in the surrounding community, promote IH Tourism as well as scientific and technological culture and heritage education.
