Graduation Information                                  Spring 2024

Graduation Application 

In order to graduate (have your degree awarded on your transcript and have your diploma mailed to you), you must complete the linked graduation application form and pay the $150.00 graduation fee. (This fee does not include your regalia.)   The fee must accompany the application and must be paid even if you are not attending the graduation ceremony. The graduation application and applicable fee is due by March 1, 2024. Applications and fees received after the deadline are subject to a $50.00 late fee.

If you have a hold with our Business Office, your degree can still be awarded. However, you will not be able to get transcripts or have your diploma mailed until that hold is taken care of with our Business Office.  The Business Office can be reached at (334) 386-7165 or studentaccounts@faulkner.edu.

Regalia

Cap, gown, and hood must be ordered by you through Jostens.  The deadline for regalia orders is March 8, 2024.  Click "Graduation Products - Shop" after clicking on the link below. 

Appropriate Graduation Attire for Graduates

Male Graduates: Regalia.  Dress pants and dress shirt preferably with a tie. Dress shoes. 

Female Graduates: Regalia. Dress pants, dress, or skirt.  Dress shoes with a sensible heel. 

Hair styles for all graduates should be simple to allow caps to be worn flat on top of the head. 

Graduates are not permitted to wear adornments (awards, medallions, drapes, pins, etc.) unless it is issued by your department or by Faulkner University. 

Photography

A picture will be taken of each graduate during the ceremony.  An email will be sent to your Faulkner email with a link to view and order prints.  No independent professional photographers or videographers will be granted access to the ceremony.  Guests may take candid photographs from their seats during the ceremony. 

Live stream

The event will be available via live-stream.  The link to the live-stream will be made available here. 

Personal Belongings

Do not bring valuables (cameras/purses/phones) with you to the line-up. The University is not responsible for valuables left behind while in the ceremony.
