Congratulations to the our newest Southeastern Championship Excel Team! Our win by over a 1,000 points is the biggest in our history and we couldn't be more proud of the effort by all our swimmers. Not only is this now our 5th consecutive SES championship but it also completes our 3rd consecutive Triple Crown win!
Thank you so much to all our coaches and parent volunteers who put in a very long weekend to make this dream possible.

We did it! By winning the combined team title at the 2025 Southeastern Winter Championships, we defended our Triple Crown. While the season isn't over, this weekend was an opportunity for me to reflect on the progress that we have made as a team. As each of the meets in the Triple Crown has an almost entirely unique set of athletes, winning all three indicates that each level of our team is thriving.
Thriving, but not done improving. While we are the Southeastern Champions, we don't have to look very far outside of our conference to find teams ranked ahead of us. In fact, in cities as close as Atlanta or Louisville, we can find teams ranked in the top 15 of the country and as the Head Coach, I will be challenging our coaching staff to keep pushing ourselves to close those gaps.
So congratulations to each Excel family, you now have a new champion in your household but know this, the best us yet to come!
Nominated by the Excel Coaches
Zack Taylor Brentwood Senior 1- Was able to hold NCSA long course pace for the 200 Breast in practice this week.
USA Swimming's Virtual Club Championship
Throughout the long course season, we will be carefully following our team's national ranking as we aim to break into the top 40 for the first time every. You can follow along here!
Over the course of the short course season, our club will be tracking a series of recognition programs to help motivate our swimmers to succeed un a multitude of events. While ultimately these programs do reward success, they are designed to be achievable by any level of swimmers, not just those with the most experience. You can always find the running totals for each at the bottom of the Excel Extras.
Heat Winner: Place in the top three swimmers in your age group for number of races won throughout the year. This award tends to favor those athletes that are attending meets, swimming a lot of events, racing hard but most importantly, improving throughout the year. Winners will receive a "Heat Winner" bag tag.

All of our parent volunteers play a vital role in hosting meets. We simply could not host meets in your absence. While most jobs take little training or experience, meet officials go through an educational and training process that enables them to help officiate at all meets. In fact, our own Excel officials have outnumbered the host team officials in both our first two meets. We are very grateful to our officiating crew but are always looking for new members. Meet officials
Ensure a safe and fair competition for all our athletes
Satisfy all their volunteer requirements
Have the best seat in the pool
Have access to hospitality
