E-learning @ E-Town

Teachers will take attendance in TAC based on student participation in asynchronous e-learning activities such as forms, assignments, activities, etc. that are completed on the e-Learning day.

Teachers will have up to 2 days after the e-learning day to mark attendance in TAC. Attendance codes will default to P (present), so teachers will have to actively mark students absent.

Students who are not able to complete work on an e-learning day should follow normal absence reporting procedures.

For an e-learning day, the expectation is that each student participates in a minimum of 5 clock hours of instruction, which may include both instructional activities and related work. Teachers will provide coursework that corresponds to the block schedule for that particular day of the week.

Orange/Blue Day Sample

A teacher will design their lesson to take 75 minutes (e.g. 60 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes of classwork related to the lesson).

Wildkit Monday Sample

A teacher will design their lesson to take 40 minutes (e.g. 30 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of classwork related to the lesson).

Teachers will be available to support students during normal school hours.

Teachers should indicate their availability for the day in Google Classroom.
