Hello Grade 4 Leaners and Families!!
I feel so lucky to be apart of your Grade 4 year. While learning may look different this year due to covid protocols, I assure you that great learning and fun can still be had in a safe manner.
I'm so fortunate to have such a great career. I love coming to work each day. I have been teacher for 13 years in mostly special education/resource roles and working with learners from grades K-9. I am new to Acadia this year, and I already feel at home - such great student, parent and staff population.
I grew up in Beautiful British Columbia, and miss the water and greenery. But, Alberta has much to offer in its own beauty. I am a mother to 2 children - a son in grade 4 too and my daughter is in grade 2. Life is crazy busy with them, but crazy good. We spend most of the weekends and evenings on the go to hockey practices, dance and bike riding when the weather allows.
I truly believe that all learners can be successful with the right tools and relationships. I look forward to a fantastic year and getting to know each one of your children and working as a team to support your child.
