Impact

During the 2018-2019 school year PAF funded some great projects for district students:

• Specialized wheelchairs

• Counseling services

• Wellness interns and books for students

• Comfort bags for students in foster care

• Adaptive bike for a student. This student was able to receive a new bike alongside his peers. This was in partnership with Wish for Wheels.

During the 2017-2018 school year PAF funded many projects for DPS students. Some of these include:

• Basic medical supplies for DPS nurses to stock their school clinics

• Diapers for children of teen mothers attending Florence Crittenton

• Eye glasses

• Funds towards supplemental counseling in DPS schools

• Funds to purchase clothing, socks and undergarments to be distributed by Clothes To Kids of Denver

• Grocery cards for district families with food insecurities

• Mini grants to support safety and well being of district students

• RTD bus passes for middle school students

• Suitcase Project for district foster care students

• Winter coats
