How is SAT School Day different then Weekend SAT Testing?

  1. Exclusive to DCHS students

  2. Takes place on a weekday

  3. The school registers the student

  4. There is no admissions ticket required for entry.

How can I register for additional SAT test dates?

  • Donovan Catholic is a weekend test center, but you do not need to test with us.

  • You will register yourself for any other SAT dates, and you will be required to show an ID and admissions ticket on test day to enter the test center (even if testing at DCHS.)

I heard that many schools will continue to be test optional next year, why should I take the SAT?

While many schools have recently announced they will continue to be test optional for the 2022 admissions cycle (Rutgers, Villanova, Stockton...) you will have the most options if you take the SAT or ACT test. If you are unhappy with your scores and choose to apply test optional, that is fine, but if you never take the test you are limiting your options. Students who choose to apply test optional will be evaluated heavily on the rigor of their transcript and their resume (or contributions to the community) instead.

How can I practice for the SAT for free?
