pRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
On behalf of Windham Tech’s staff, students, families, industry partners and the community, we welcome our incoming freshmen, Class of 2025. My name is Eric Hilversum and I am proud to be the principal of Windham Tech. Your arrival to school in August marks the beginning of a new era in education. We are excited about the quality work that you completed in middle school and feel confident about your ability to become one of the best classes ever to attend our great school. Soon, you will find that, at Windham Tech, it is very difficult to fail because teachers strive to provide students multiple opportunities for success. This is the Windham Tech way.
During your first year at our school, you will have an opportunity to explore multiple trade fields, make new friends and work with caring and committed teachers. This will take place in a safe, friendly and respectful learning environment, where diversity and multiculturalism are highly valued. We are also a proud school community with a history of major accomplishments in sports, work-based learning, community service, and charity events.
We look forward to working with the Class of 2025 and to lead our new students, the Mighty Tigers, to a bright future.
Message from THE SCHOOL COUNSELING OFFICE
Hello Class of 2025!! My name is Laura Jones and I am the Director of School Counseling and Admissions at Windham Tech. I'm sorry that I can't meet you at orientation as I usually would! This spring has been a challenging time for all of us, but we are so excited to get back to a traditional learning model this fall. Our first day of school is Monday, August 30th!! The links included on this website will provide you and your caregivers with helpful information to make your start this August as successful as possible. However, no matter how much information we provide, you may still have questions. That's ok! Please reach out to me and I will do my best to provide the answers you need. My contact information can be found in the support staff link. I recommend checking this website occasionally this summer for any updates. Windham Tech will also use the parent/caregiver email as a way to communicate new information. Be sure to read all the information in the links as there is lots to learn regarding your classes, summer reading, uniforms, and much more!!
