My name is Melissa Flem. I attended Holy Saviour Grammar School, PVI Highschool, and Cabrini University where I received my Bachelor in Science in Education.
I have been a teacher for the diocese for twenty-three years. My journey began at St. Joan of Arc in Fairview, where I taught both 5th and 1st grades. After that, I joined CKRS, teaching 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. After ten years at CKRS, I took a break to be a stay-at-home mom for nine years. Thirteen years ago, when my youngest started kindergarten, I returned to CKRS full time.
Both of my daughters attended CKRS, and it was truly a joy to see them shine every day. Teaching has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl, inspired by my mother. Being at CKRS is a daily pleasure, and I love watching the children learn and explore.
