• Are there any age requirements for me and my partner to join this programme?

For the marriage preparation programme, groom must be at least 25 years above, while the bride must be at least 21 years of age, both upon registration for the programme.

The enrichment programme on the other hand requires the muslim couple to be in their first 10 years in their marriage, with the groom to be at least 25 years of age upon marriage, and the bride to be at least 21 years old when they are married.

• Do I have to attend the marriage preparation programme before booking a naib kadi (solemnizer)?

Couples may proceed to book their naib kadi before or after attending the CA Marriage Preparation Programme. The marriage certificate is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

• Is the Marriage Preparation Programme different from the Marriage Enrichment programme?

The Marriage preparation programme is designed for soon to wed muslim couples. It aims to support couples in building a strong foundation for their marriage. Couples will discover more on their strengths and aspirations as a family. They will learn important areas such as effective communication, conflict resolution, financial planning and strengthening ties with families and other support networks.

The enrichment programme caters to couples who are in their first ten years of marriage, to support their transition into marriage and parenthood. This programme allows couples to revisit their values and mindset, knowledge and skills when they enter into marriage. It will also expose couples to the tools to build positive relationships with their children and raise them into healthy individuals.

• Do I need to pay for attending the programmes?

For the CA marriage preparation programme, there is a fee according to the operators. Visit our Programme schedule page to know more!

For the CA Enrichment programme, your participation is complementary.
