Marriage Module | Session 1:
Marriage Check-Up
In this session, you will:
✔ Review your marriage goals vis-a-vis your current reality.
✔ Identify at least one adjustment issue that you are undergoing / have overcome.
✔ Identify more than one characteristic difference between your current family and your family of origin.
✔ Use at least one tool to enhance your marital relationship.
Marriage Module | Session 2:
Money Matters - Making Cents (Sense) Together
In this session: you will:
✔ Share your own understanding of your financial roles in the marriage
✔ Identify at least one influential factor that determined your position and expectation about money
✔ Agree to setting of ground rules concerning money/finance in the marriage
Marriage Module | Session 3:
Love Matters - Nurturing and Appreciating Each Other
In this session, you will:
✔ Develop a new appreciation of love.
✔ Recognize and affirm that love needs nurturing.
✔ Acknowledge that marriage requires dedication and stamina to sustain.
✔ Identify at least one way of sustaining the marriage of a lifetime.
Marriage Module | Session 4:
Relationships Matter - Revisiting Boundaries
In this session, you will:
✔ Identify at least one key difference between disagreements and conflicts.
✔ Identify at least one way of creating connections through differences and after having conflicts.
✔ Agree with your partner on the need to have healthy boundaries in your marital relationship.
✔ Agree with your partner that boundaries will need to be revisited at different stages of your marital journey.
Parenting Module | Session 5:
Parenting Smart - Negotiating Parental Roles
In this session, you will:
✔ Identify your purpose of parenting
✔ Identify your parental aspiration with at least one doable strategy in achieving it
✔ Identify areas of parenting roles that need to be reviewed and agreed upon
✔ Acknowledge the importance of parenting with wisdom (Hikmah) and compassion (Rahmah)
Parenting Module | Session 6:
Parenting Positive - Building Attachments
In this session, you will:
✔ Learn at least three positive disciplining skills
✔ Acknowledge your own positive efforts as parents.
✔ Know at least one type of attachments in children.
✔ Acknowledge how play can help sustain secure attachment in children beyond infancy.
