Meet Our First Graduate of the Adult Education Program at Mary Ford: Zyarie Orum
Meet Zyarie!
Zyarie Orum is a former Mary Ford student. When she was an elementary student, her teacher was Principal Hart! Now, Zyarie is the mother of two Mary Ford students and is the first parent to graduate from our Adult Education GED program at Mary Ford.
Committed and determined to complete her secondary education, Zyarie came into Mary Ford almost every school day and stayed until pick up time to prepare for each GED subtest.
Her hard work paid off when she graduated with her South Carolina High School Equivalency Diploma just a few months later. Zyarie has since landed a job at Mercedes Benz. She is planning to enroll in school this fall to work on her cosmetology license.
