School Improvement Council Nominations

The Buist Academy School Improvement Council has one parent vacancy. The SIC is an advisory council to the principal that is focused on school improvement. It is made up of parent, teacher, and community representatives.

A representative of the SIC will contact all individuals whose names are submitted for nomination prior to the election to confirm acceptance of the nomination.

Nominees will be invited to submit a brief statement about themselves and why they want to serve on the SIC. All statements received will be included in the election ballot. This process will give voters a chance to get to know each of the candidates.

Nominations will be accepted until October 10, 2022, at noon.
