Lost and Found
Please remind students to check lost and found daily. We have many lost items in Quarter 3 that need to be found. Parents are welcome to check lost and found before and after school. These items will be donated on Friday, April 7.

Buist Academy now has an official Facebook page called Buist Academy Knights. There are several other Buist Academy Facebook groups. While these groups can be helpful and a resource to parents, they are not officially affiliated with the school. Any information or opinions shared do not reflect the views of Buist Academy. Fall '23Volleyball
Volleyball- next fall? The school volleyball season typically starts right after labor day and finishes mid-October. Since this is shortly after school begins, we are trying to get a jump start on organization and hopefully even some practices in this school year. Traditionally these school teams are organized & coached by parent volunteers and run through the city of Charleston recreation department.
Typically costs are approximately $40 per player to the recreation department and $50 per player for jerseys plus the cost of knee pads & shorts. This sport is open to girls & boys in 5th - 8th grades. Last year, every grade level had a girls team and the boys team was a mixture of grade levels as it was the first year the city had a boys team.
We are assuming next year will follow a similar format and teams will be based on the number of students interested, the number of available coaches, and the player's ability. Meaning if we have too many students interested (city rec. limit is 12 players/team) and too few available coaches, then we will have "try-outs". If your child is interested in volleyball next school year, please fill out this form.
