KMHS MANAGEMENT 22-23

I'm Marisol Careno. I am a junior graduating this year and I’m involved in National Honors Society, Science National honors Society, National Technical Honors Society, Key Club, Z(Zonta) Club, and Radio Management. I’ve been taking radio classes since eighth  grade and as of right now I do all the Spanish Content on the station. I'm excited for everyone to see what new ideas we’ve been coming up with and who we’re bringing in. After graduating I hope to attend OSU and Major in Television Broadcasting and minor in Political Science. 

My name is Jacqueline Ramirez and I am a senior this year here at Marshfield. I am in the Science National Honors Society and am trying to get more involved in our community. After high school, I will be studying Psychology in college. I like going on road trips in my free time and spending time with my family.

My name is Wes Pruitt. I was born in Riverside, California and moved to Coos Bay in early 2019. I am a junior but I’ve had experience with radio since my 8th grade year in 2019. I also do theater and am an active member of the theater council here at Marshfield. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, gaming, and listening to music, so radio is right up my alley. I plan on studying film and becoming a filmmaker after high school. 

Hi! My name is Karli Kennedy and I am a junior at Marshfield! I have been involved in KMHS Pirate Radio since my 8th grade year. I am involved in the Associative Student Body, National Honor Society, Upbeats Dance Team and I am the current Miss Oregon High School America! After High School, I plan to attend an out of state college to obtain a masters degree in nursing to become a dermatology nurse practitioner. Last year, I was able to attend Skillsusa nationals in Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the Radio Broadcasting competition! I am so thankful for my time with KMHS and I am grateful for the opportunities this program has provided me. 

I'm Lilly Dubisar, a junior and  I edit the website and do lots of creative work for KMHS. I've been in the radio program since 8th grade and will continue through my senior year!  I am also a new member of  the National Technical Honor Society ! Outside of school, I'm the president of my 4H club, a county ambassador/leader for 4H and a field supervisor for CCYS soccer. In  4H, I show photography, goats, market lambs and some other statics here and there. In my free time I enjoy playing with my animals, listening to music and going to the beach (sometimes I do them all at once)!!

My name is Jake Green, I’m a Junior and I spent the first semester of my school year in Italy. I learned a lot of Italian, and made many new friends and memories. As for my life in America, I’m in the national honor society, science national honor society, and the tennis team. After high school, I plan on getting my architectural degree at University of Oregon.

My name is Maddie Cook and I’m a sophomore here at Marshfield and a member of KMHS management. I was born and raised in Utah, and moved to the coast in September of 2021. Outside of school I like to make jewelry, paint, and listen to music. I did the weather for the radio station last year and I hope to continue doing radio throughout my highschool years. 

Eliot is a sophomore and member of KMHS management. He works on creative projects for the station and does other behind the scenes jobs at the station.  A fact about Eliot is he does not like to check his email.

My name is Eli Luckman. I am a sophomore here at Marshfield. I have been a part of radio for 2 years. Along with radio I participate in golf and soccer. Last year, I was able to attend skillsusa nationals in Atlanta, Georgia and compete in Radio Broadcasting. In my free time I like to work on cars and hang out with friends. One fun fact about me is that I have raced cars since the age of 10. 

Parker is a sophomore and radio manager for KMHS.
