Sims Park (located in the City of Euclid, just northeast of Cleveland Heights) is one of of the six parks that provides Cleveland residents with access to Lake Erie. Unfortunately, the park falls just outside of Cleveland Metropark's jurisdiction and the city of Euclid does not have sufficient funding to regularly care for all 30 acres of this beautiful park. After noticing these unfortunate circumstances, we (a group of students from CWRU's Masters of Engineering Management program) have decided to partner with the City of Euclid to organize a park cleanup. We would love to get as much support from the community as possible, so tell your friends, neighbors, family members, co-workers, enemies, and Instagram followers! We will be meeting at the park at 1pm and there should be plenty of parking. We also ask that you wear closed toed shoes and pants. We will be providing gloves and trashbags. Please come out, support your community, meet some new people, and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Erie!
