I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I graduated from Centennial High School in 1992 and went on to become a Talking Bronco at Boise State University. During my time at BSU, I was a member of the Speech and Debate team. I traveled throughout the United States and competed against some of the most notable colleges and universities. I have my BA in Communication Secondary Education with a minor in Theater Arts.
After graduating from BSU, I began teaching at my alma mater, Centennial High School. I taught Theater, Speech, and Student Leadership there for 15 years. In 2013, an opportunity to teach Theater Arts, Speech, and Student Leadership opened up, and I was ready for the challenge and to make a change. I currently teach Theater and Film Lit at Capital and Beginning Theater at Fairmont in the mornings. I love the kids and enjoy working with the best teachers in Idaho.
