UC Berkeley Pre-Engineering Program (PREP) · Jul–Aug 2024
PREP is UC Berkeley's summer program helping incoming engineering students build technical and design skills before their first semester. As part of a 30-hour intensive design sprint, I collaborated with a 5-member team to prototype an organ transportation system, developing and testing solutions to real-world challenges. The experience strengthened my communication, technical design, and teamwork skills. My team was recognized with the program's Best Impact Award by College of Engineering faculty and industry judges.

General Member · 2024 - 2026
For two years, I've participated in mentorship programs, workshops, and networking events that foster diversity in STEM and support the professional development of underrepresented Hispanic engineering students at UC Berkeley. Through this group, I've gained the ability to adapt to any environment I'm placed in.
