Useful Links

Most of the resources we will use in class will be linked into your child's CANVAS account. Contact me to become an Observer of your child's account. A few are only accessible through Clever - students will know how to log into this, but if there is confusion, please contact me ASAP so I can assist you.

More information about Canvas and Clever

Canvas is a learning management system. We will be using this to do any virtual learning and some in class learning. I can create modules (units) for students to work through at their own pace. Videos, documents, and responses are embedded into the page. Students will need to either sign into their google account and find Canvas under the waffle, or they can log in through Clever.

Clever is a single sign on platform. It allows students to log in 1 time and access many resources. Some teachers have also used Clever as a link repository. Students will log into Clever with their Google username and password.

From a home computer:

  1. Go to the clever website: Click Here

  2. For some reason it tries to redirect you, so click the long link.

  3. Click "Log in with Google."

  4. Your child's username is 2029_________________@bedford.k12.va.us (where the ________ is their first initial, middle initial, and whole last name; ex: 2029mncope@bedford.k12.va.us)

  5. They should know their password. If they don't, please email me.

  6. Once you have typed the username, you should be able to select it from a list from that point on.

From a school chromebook:

  1. When you log into your chromebook with your password, it should send you directly to clever.

    1. If you exit out of the clever website, use the directions above.

  2. Click "Log in with google"

  3. You should be in.
