War Pony 5K

Register for the War Pony 5K

W.D. Williams Elementary School and Fit Girls running club is excited to be hosting the War Pony 5K! All proceeds raised from the War Pony 5K will go directly to programs that benefit the students of WD Williams Elementary School in Swannanoa, North Carolina. This is a family friendly race, in which participants can either run or walk, which we hope will encourage healthy choices for all. Strollers are welcome, no dogs on the course please.

5K Race Route

This 5K runs through Carrier Park and along the Hominy Creek Trail along the French Broad River. It is an easy flat course that begins on the track and loops around the back of Carrier Park. Participants will then follow the Hominy Creek Trail and turn around to complete the race back on the track.

Awards

Customized medals will be given to the first male and female finisher, first male and female master finisher, and top three male and female runners in each age group.

12 and under 30 -39 years of age

13-19 years of age 40-49 years of age

20-29 years of age 50-59 years of age

60 and older
