The Cantandres are a beginner-level audition group, consisting of mostly 9th grade Cantare/Cantando students. It allows students to get a feel for the small ensemble experience in a less weighted environment than Skyline Blues.

Where Skyline Blues has a large focus on competing and gaining recognition, The Cantandres are largely dedicated to building good vocal technique and a better understanding of a cappella music. The group has had a varied repertoire of contemporary, pop, and classical music, allowing students to accelerate their musical skill set beyond traditional choral pieces.

The Cantandres perform at most of Skyline's home concerts and attend the MSVMA A Cappella Festival each year. They do not participate in ICHSA.Â
