After school program

STAFFING IS STILL NOT IN PLACE TO OPERATE THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM.

Reading Elementary School attempts to offer an after school programs to our PreK - Grade 4 students. When operational, the after school program will run from the end of the school day, 2:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, if we can hire adequate staffing.  

Reading 5th and 6th grade students who attend The Prosper Valley School are permitted to sign up for the Reading ASP if families desire this. The afternoon bus from TPVS would then drop off your student at RES around 3:20 - 3:30 p.m.

The cost per student per day will be $17.00. 

State subsidy is available for qualifying families.  For more information regarding the qualification for subsidized after school care, please go to www.brightfutures.dcf.state.vt.us.  Confidential assistance in applying for subsidy is available.
