MASONITE BOARD

Drawing boards are expensive to replace, but easy to make by cutting up masonite board. If you are in the construction business and can help us salvage or cut board please reach out.

There are many items you may consider trash that we can use in the art room. Please keep us in mind as you clean out your "storage". Most of the things listed we need in any amount - ie: leftover stuff. 

(I would be happy to send you a letter of thanks to use toward taxes.)

small desk lamps

working light bulbs (we have lamps that need bulbs)

sewing needles, thread

still life items- interesting ceramic, glass, metal jars/containers/bottles, hats, taxidermy, silk flowers, fake fruit

canvas, vinyl, burlap 

plaster/grout 

buttons, beads, sequins, ribbon, feathers

wire (from computers, appliances) 

magazines, books and calendars with pictures (Nat'l Geographic, travel, sports, entertainment)

fishing line, string, rope, clothesline 

knives, forks, spoons, scoops, wooden spoons, rolling pins

screen - metal or plastic 

latex interior or exterior paint - any colors, especially bright colors 

small appliances (in safe working condition): deep fryer, blender, hair dryer, pasta maker

wax (remains of candles)  

canvas paintings (we reuse the stretcher bars)
