About Your Teacher

My name is Shelley Thompson and I am very happy to be teaching 5^th and 6th grade Science.

I started my education at a local Catholic school, Immaculate Conception. After attending ICS, I went on to graduate from Immaculata High School which is now known as Academy of Our Lady. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans, focusing on United States History. I received my teaching certification from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. I am the proud wife of a retired Navy Sailor

I have two children Emma and Michael. Emma is a recent graduate of Visitation and Michael is going into fourth grade!
