Investigational Drug Trials

What are Investigational Drug Trials?

Investigational drug trials are studies that investigate new drugs which have the potential to treat ALS. Some of the current clinical trials are placebo-controlled, meaning you could receive an active drug or a placebo (a drug that looks exactly like the study drug but contains no active medication).

Your participation in investigational drug trials is entirely voluntary, and you may refuse to participate or discontinue participation at any time without penalty or loss of benefits to which you would normally be entitled.
