SAT = College Board (https://www.collegeboard.org/)

ACT = (http://www.act.org/)

When you register for the test you can choose the colleges you would like them sent to - but keep in mind this cannot be undone.

We now recommend waiting to see if your SAT/ACT scores match the colleges you are applying to and if they do or they are higher... it might make sense to send them!

(Your school counselor does not send test scores and self-reporting on the Common App is not official but more colleges are accepting self-reporting so check your school)
