At Home Practice

Monday -Wednesday, second grade students are encouraged to read a "Just Right" book for 10 minutes and then practice their addition and subtraction facts for at least 5 minutes.

A weekly spelling list will be sent home at the beginning of each week as well.  Students will be assessed on their spelling words throughout their writing activities and need to study the words throughout the week in the way that works best for them.  

There are many spelling and math fact study options that are sent home in a packet at the beginning of the year.
