About Me
I have lived in Arizona for most of my life, but I moved from NJ when I was in 4th grade. I have twins who are recent college graduates. My daughter attends Penn State to pursue her Ph.D. after graduating in neuroscience from U of A. My son graduated with a CIS degree from ASU and is a software engineer. We also have a German Shepherd, named Sammy, and a tiny Chihuahua, named Toby. You may see me around Desert Ridge walking with them.

In addition to teaching and holding a gifted endorsement, I have a degree in Supply Management and an M.B.A. Once my children started school, I worked in the Paradise Valley school district in various roles. I was also very involved in PTO for many years and continue to support Fireside PTO programs. In addition, I taught third grade at Wildfire and Fireside. I loved the challenge of finding activities to support all of my students in my previous gifted cluster classes. I am looking forward to another very exciting year at Fireside with 4th grade self contained gifted students! We will have a wonderful year together!
