The Prairie Spirit School Division requires the services of substitute teachers and substitute educational assisstants for Public and Hutterian Schools for the current school year. Anyone interested in substituting, please call the Division Office at 204-836-2147 for an application. If you currently have an application on file, please call to confirm your interest.

 Qualified substitute teachers must sign a substitute teacher contract which has been enacted by Manitoba Regulation 109/2005. This agreement must be signed each and every year that you are interested in substituting for Prairie Spirit School Division.

 Please be advised that school division policy also requires a one time Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Check be attained and on file.

 Substitute Bus Driver Application Form

Applicants must obtain a valid Class II Drivers License, a School Bus Drivers Certificate and pass a Medical Test. Training will be provided by Prairie Spirit School Division.

Duties to commence when all requirements are met.

Applicants are required to supply a clear criminal record check and submit to a child abuse registry check as well as have a clean driver’s abstract.
