The Pre-AP science program at St. Matthew is designed to prepare students for AP science courses in grade 12. This website is a repository of information for this course. Here you will find documents, notes, assignments, outlines, and other relevant course material. Enjoy!
Cellphones
As of 2017 there is a ban in place on cell phones in the physics class. If you elect to bring it to class you can store it in the bin at the front. If you prefer you can store it safely somewhere outside the classroom. If you elect to keep in on your person and you take it out during class it will be confiscated and you may be required to collect it in the main office.
Keep in mind that the science is very clear: Cell phones in the classroom are a major distraction and negatively affect your performance in class.
EXTRA HELP
Its no secret that many find physics a challenging course. I make myself available for extra help almost every day at lunch in room 255. If its too busy at that time or you are unavailable you can make arrangements to meet me after school in room 255. Otherwise please contact me at the following address with your questions:

Progress Tracking:
Students marks and progress can be tracked using a secure online tracking system that can be accessed by following the link in the invitation email that will be sent to all students and parents. The site can be accessed via any web browser on a computer or mobile device. Every student in my class will receive an email to their ocsbstudent account inviting them to create their own username and password. The website can be accessed using the following link:
